Rosario Dawson<\/strong><\/a> dropped a major Marvel bombshell on Saturday (July 25)!<\/p>\n

While attending a Daredevil <\/em>Q&A at GalaxyCon in Raleigh, North Carolina, the 47-year-old actress revealed that she filmed a scene for Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, which would have marked her return to the MCU. <\/p>\n

However, she says she got cut from the final product. <\/p>\n

“I even shot a scene in the new Spider-Man movie, but I got cut out,\u201d Rosario<\/strong> said, via ComicBook.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The outlet reports that there were rumors swirling for a while about Rosario<\/strong> reprising her role as Claire Temple in the movie.<\/p>\n

Following Peter Parker’s suffering from injuries and mutating in the upcoming Brand New Day<\/em>, and teaming up with The Punisher, it’s likely he would’ve been taken to Claire for help.<\/p>\n

If you recall, she played the night nurse across the Netflix Defenders Saga<\/em>, appearing in Daredevil<\/em>, Jessica Jones<\/em>, Iron Fist<\/em>, The Defenders<\/em>, and Luke Cage<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Marvel has been incorporating the Defenders Saga <\/em>characters into the MCU, with Charlie Cox<\/strong> even appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/em>, followed by a return in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law <\/em>and the revival of the Daredevil<\/em> series. Krysten Ritter<\/strong>, Finn Jones<\/strong>, and Mike Colter<\/strong> are also set to reprise their roles<\/a> in the upcoming third season of Daredevil: Born Again<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Of course, Jon Bernthal<\/strong> is reprising his Punisher role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em> after returning in Daredevil: Born Again<\/em> and his own TV special, The Punisher: One Last Kill<\/em>.<\/p>\n
