Grey’s Anatomy<\/strong><\/a><\/em> is returning for a 23rd season! <\/p>\n

The long-running medical drama on ABC was renewed back in March<\/a>, and they are now heading back into production for the new episodes. <\/p>\n

The television show’s official Instagram account shared a new cast photo on Friday (July 24), confirming which stars will be reprising their roles<\/a>. <\/p>\n

If you missed it, a new Texas-based spinoff<\/a> is also in the works!<\/p>\n

Spotted in the new cast photo above are longtime stars Chandra Wilson<\/strong>, James Pickens Jr<\/strong>, Debbie Allen<\/strong>, Chris Carmack<\/strong>, Caterina Scorsone<\/strong>, Camilla Luddington<\/strong>, and Jason George<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Newer stars returning include Anthony Hill<\/strong>, Alexis Floyd<\/strong>, Harry Shum Jr<\/strong>, Adelaide Kane<\/strong>, Niko Terho<\/strong>, and Trevor Jackson<\/strong>. Jen Landon<\/strong>, who joined the cast in a recurring role in season 22 as Dr Toni Wright, was also pictured, confirming she’ll be coming back as well. <\/p>\n

Notably absent from the group pic was Ellen Pompeo<\/strong>, who took on decreased screen time on the show. She still regularly appears and narrates, as well as serving as an executive producer.<\/p>\n

Of course, as previously reported, Kim Raver<\/strong> and Kevin McKidd<\/strong> are not returning next season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Grey’s Anatomy<\/em> season 23 will debut this fall on ABC, returning to its 10 pm ET\/PT slot on Thursday nights!<\/p>\n
