The 59-year-old actress shot to fame playing C.J. Parker in the first five seasons of the lifeguard drama but she insisted she doesn’t “know much” about Fox’s upcoming new version of the show, though she wished those involved in the project good luck.<\/p>\n
She told Deadline: “No one\u2019s reached out to me. I don\u2019t know much about it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know that they were talking to my sons at some point about producing, but I don\u2019t think they had a meeting of the minds. I\u2019m not sure what happened there, but I wish them well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pamela adored her stint on Baywatch but stressed she has “no plans” to go back to the show in future.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cIt was a great job, and I loved going to work every day on the beach. I would have been there anyway.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAt the time, it taught me a lot, and it gave me worldwide exposure. Everything I\u2019ve done has led me to here, which is a blessing. But I have no plans of going back to Baywatch.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Last Showgirl actress admitted she\u2019d have considered being part of the Baywatch reboot if her sons, Brandon and Dylan Lee, had been involved, but otherwise she\u2019s enjoying embracing new opportunities.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cIf my kids were involved, I probably would have listened to them. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI think I\u2019ve just got to keep on seeing what else is out there. I get that there\u2019s a lot of really great TV out there right now, but I\u2019ve already done that. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cNow is my time to really play with different characters. I don\u2019t want to just fill my time until the end of the year. I have options, and some things I\u2019m thinking about, including some theatre again. I want to make really bold choices. I want to surprise people. I want to surprise myself. And so I\u2019m trying to do things I haven\u2019t done in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHer former co-star Carmen Electra – who played Lani McKenzie – recently offered advice to the new cast and insisted they need to be in good shape and have strong swimming skills.<\/p>\n
\nAsked what advice she’d give to the cast – which includes Jessica Belkin, Thaddeus LaGrone, Hassie Harrison, Brooks Nader, Noah Beck, and Shay Mitchell – Carmen told E! News: “It\u2019s a lot of hard work. <\/p>\n
\n“So, you just want to be in tip-top shape before you step out there, period. And work on your swimming techniques. Because it’s hard. It\u2019s not an easy job.”<\/p>\n
\nCarmen worked with a real-life lifeguard in preparation for her time on Baywatch.<\/p>\n
\nShe recalled: “He was like, \u2018You’ve got to do everything’. He was really tough on us. So, I’m hoping they’re not as tough on them, but I have a feeling they are.”<\/p>\n
