Olivia Culpo reveals birth plan for baby number two<\/p>\n
The 34-year-old model and her husband, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, are getting ready to welcome their second child but they are trying to juggle the birth with Christian\u2019s work commitments amid the new football season.<\/p>\n
Speaking in a new TikTok, Olivia shared that she will have a C-section on a day when McCaffrey, 30, has a \u201cslightly easier\u201d schedule.<\/p>\n
She explained to fans: \u201cChristian\u2019s leaving for the season. So sad. Everything feels overwhelming. Plan is I\u2019m having a C-section because I had a C-section in July last year, so having a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean) wasn\u2019t an option.<\/p>\n

\u201cBasically, it\u2019s on an off day for him, so he\u2019ll be able to come just for the birth. And then aside from that, he\u2019ll have to go back. So it\u2019s gonna be different than my first birth.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAll the misconception is that the football season starts like [in] September when all the games start, but it really doesn\u2019t. It starts at the end of July because that\u2019s when they go to camp, and then just goes right into the season.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBecause she will be without her husband following her baby\u2019s birth, Culpo said she is \u201cgrateful\u201d for her \u201cvillage and large security detail\u201d as she will be juggling caring for a newborn with looking after their 12-month-old daughter Colette.<\/p>\n
\nLast year, Olivia admitted she had initially been worried that having a baby would adversely impact her career.<\/p>\n
\nShe told The Squeeze podcast: “There’s totally a shift. Whether or not you want there to be or not, you have somebody that’s physically dependent on you. So I’m not going to sugarcoat it. Yeah, it’s scary.”<\/p>\n
\nBut, she shared that McCaffrey had been supportive of her career.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: “I’m so grateful that I have my husband because while I’m totally working and I’m doing everything in my power to keep working and I’m so happy to have the opportunities that I have. Let’s say they all went away – would I have the same ability 10, 12, 15, 20 years ago to light that fire up my butt when I have somebody who really needs me, which is my baby? No. And I would choose my baby 10 times over, obviously.”<\/p>\n
