For whatever reason, the blonde seems to be working.”<\/p>\n \t\t\t<\/p>\n\nMegan explained that her appearance often affects her mood.<\/p>\n\nShe said: “Whenever I\u2019m feeling sad, I either need a spray tan or I need to dye my hair blonder.<\/p>\n\n“I dyed my hair blonde for the first time at 16 after my first heartbreak. My mom didn\u2019t let me touch my hair before, but when I wouldn\u2019t stop crying, she was like, \u2018Okay, fine.\u2019”<\/p>\n\nMegan enjoys going makeup-free and she’s glad that her fans accept her for who she is.<\/p>\n\nThe country star said: “I would love to have an era where I wear my hair natural and less makeup because off stage, this is what you\u2019re gonna see, and my fans know that.<\/p>\n\n“What is cool about my career and my fans is they feel like they know me through social media and they know that I don\u2019t always look like this \u2014 having pounds of extensions on my head.”<\/p>\n\nMegan actually enjoys when her fans recognise her away from the spotlight, when she’s not wearing make-up.<\/p>\n\nThe singer explained: “I always say, too, if you can recognise me when I\u2019m natural, you deserve a picture.
