Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco tied the knot last year<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old record producer – who has a fear of flying – recently travelled to Europe by boat in order to be present for Selena’s 34th birthday, and he’s made sure that the brunette beauty enjoyed a memorable time during their vacation in Tuscany. <\/p>\n

A source told People: “Not only did he spend his days traveling by boat to be with her in England, he also planned a special birthday for her in Tuscany.”<\/p>\n

Benny – who married Selena last year – always goes out of his way to take care of Selena.<\/p>\n

The source said: “He always goes out of his way to make things special for her.”<\/p>\n

\nSelena previously confessed that she never imagined herself dating Benny.<\/p>\n

\nBut the singer – who has also dated the likes of Justin Bieber and The Weeknd – admitted that her attitude changed the more they worked together.<\/p>\n

\nDuring an appearance on the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, Selena shared: “I was so not … you know when you realise you\u2019re not in that place anymore you need to be where you are? It\u2019s all about timing to meet that person even if I did think, ‘Oh I need to take this a step forward then it wouldn\u2019t have worked’. Simply you just have to be there mentally in order to move forward with something healthy.<\/p>\n

\n“Then we reunited for Single Soon \u2026 it wasn\u2019t our favourite \u2026 just because I can say this cause I\u2019m marrying him. Just really wasn\u2019t what I thought I wanted so he came in and he agrees on a lot of levels but he just came in and I was like oh \u2018Hi Benny\u2019 and we spoke for two hours and I asked him to hook me up with anybody that he knew that was cute and he was like, \u2018Oh we do these things, these dinner nights. You should come\u2019 … and next thing you know we\u2019re dating.”<\/p>\n
