On Thursday (July 23), TMZ<\/a><\/em> reported that the 41-year-old Gossip Girl<\/em> actor and girlfriend Kelsey Merritt<\/strong><\/a> have broken up after over a year of dating.<\/p>\n

Sources close the former couple say that the split was amicable and that the two remain friends with no hard feelings.<\/p>\n

Chace<\/strong> and the 29-year-old Victoria’s Secret<\/em> model first sparked dating rumors in late 2024 when they were spotted spending time together. They later confirmed their relationship in April 2024<\/a> when they were photographed kissing while shopping in New York City.<\/p>\n

Last September, Chace<\/strong> and Kelsey<\/strong> vacationed<\/a> with Zac Efron<\/strong><\/a>, Nina Dobrev<\/strong><\/a>, and more famous friends aboard a yacht off the coast of Italy.<\/p>\n
