One, it\u2019s a sort of bizarre mid-life crisis for Tom Brady, it\u2019s an exercise in ego, can\u2019t get enough, got to do more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s also a chance it is part of a broader plan. Is Tom Brady trying to cosy up to the wrestling base when it comes to for running for office?\u201d Florio continued, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did research this morning and the idea of Tom Brady running for president is not some new thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Da-d-GPFZUn\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>Yes, the \u201c<em>Idiocracy<\/em> was a documentary\u201d crowd has been validated once again, and the world of pro wrestling is now considered a viable path to the White House.<\/p>\n<p>Florio noted that Brady has been mentioned as a potential presidential candidate many times in the past, most notably by Sam Bankman Fried \u2014 who is now serving a 25-year prison sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Not the most auspicious start to Tom Terrific\u2019s political career, but presidential campaigns have overcome a felony or two in the past.<\/p>\n<p>Speculation surrounding Brady and the WWE intensified after his increasingly public feud with Logan Paul.<\/p>\n<p>The rivalry began with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/07\/tom-brady-slaps-logan-paul-in-heated-confrontation-but-was-it-all-staged\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brady slapping the WWE star<\/a> and influencer during Fanatics Fest before the pair exchanged more taunts during the FIFA World Cup final.<\/p>\n<p>Brady has also openly admitted he\u2019d be interested in stepping into the ring if WWE could come up with the right storyline, and multiple reports say discussions between the two sides are ongoing. <\/p>\n<p>However, neither Brady nor WWE has officially announced any agreement.<\/p>\n<p>According to Radar, former NFL executive Mike Lombardi believes a WWE run could help Brady develop the charisma and public speaking skills that often benefit political candidates.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DZcrBqNFRYn\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>Lombardi pointed to the entertainment world\u2019s long history of producing politicians, arguing that performing before massive live audiences can be valuable preparation for public office.<\/p>\n<p>He also suggested Brady\u2019s carefully managed public image and enormous name recognition would make him a formidable candidate if he ever decided to enter politics.<\/p>\n<p>For now, though, there is no indication that Brady plans to run for office. The presidency speculation remains just that: speculation.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, Brady appears focused on his broadcasting career with FOX Sports, his business ventures, and whatever may or may not be developing with WWE.<\/p>\n<p>Whether those wrestling rumors eventually become reality remains to be seen.<\/p>\n<p>As for a presidential campaign?<\/p>\n<p>There are a few more barriers to success there.
