I mourn the soul I was before death taught my heart its own name,\u201d Kelly wrote, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a grief that steals more than the person you love. It quietly takes the light from your laughter, the innocence from your hope, and the stranger you become is someone you\u2019ll spend a lifetime trying to recognize. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople think grief is missing someone who is gone, but the deepest sorrow is waking each day longing for the version of yourself who died with them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGrief is a language no one truly speaks until life forces it upon them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She went on to describe Ozzy as her \u201cbest friend,\u201d \u201cprotector,\u201d and \u201cgreatest teacher,\u201d writing that she still feels his presence in everyday life despite the pain of no longer being able to speak with or hug him. <\/p>\n<p>She also said she sees pieces of her father living on through her young son, Sidney, and thanked him for the love and guidance he gave her throughout her life.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DbEiOW6SPbz\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>Unfortunately, the touching tribute attracted plenty of harsh criticism.<\/p>\n<p>Some social media users accused Kelly of focusing too much on her own grief instead of celebrating Ozzy\u2019s extraordinary legacy.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/radaronline.com\/p\/kelly-osbourne-trolled-dad-ozzy-death-backlash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Radar Online<\/a>, critics claimed the post centered more on Kelly\u2019s emotions than on the legendary musician\u2019s accomplishments, with several commenters suggesting she was \u201cmaking it all about herself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Others defended her, pointing out that grieving the loss of a parent is deeply personal and that everyone processes loss differently.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMan if this isn\u2019t one of the most relatable, accurate descriptions of the grief journey. I\u2019m so so sorry. Big hugs from someone who also lost her dad. He\u2019s with you always,\u201d wrote one user.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s hardly the first time <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/03\/kelly-osbourne-brits-weight-loss-cruelty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kelly has been targeted online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In recent months, she has repeatedly addressed cruel comments about her appearance and weight while continuing to mourn her father\u2019s death. She has previously called the criticism \u201cdisgusting\u201d and pushed back against speculation surrounding her health.<\/p>\n<p>Sources close to the situation tell Radar that Kelly is taking the criticism in stride:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost people understand Kelly is sharing her own experience, but some online critics believe every anniversary post becomes centered on her emotions rather than Ozzy\u2019s extraordinary legacy. That\u2019s where the trolling is coming from,\u201d says one insider.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSupporters see a daughter processing unimaginable loss, while detractors accuse her of making herself the focus.
