The View<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Joy Behar<\/strong><\/a> is going viral for a lingering kiss with married guest Anson Mount<\/strong> \u2014 and their respective spouses are weighing in.<\/p>\n

Behar, 83, planted a kiss on the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds<\/em><\/a> actor, 53, when he came out for his interview on the Wednesday, July 22, episode<\/a>, much to the surprise of her cohosts, including Whoopi Goldberg<\/strong> and Sunny Hostin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m old but I\u2019m not dead!\u201d Behar declared after the intimate greeting, while Mount discreetly tried to remove the comedian\u2019s lipstick from his mouth.<\/p>\n

Behar noted that the last time Mount was on the ABC daytime talk show, \u201che brought me flowers for my birthday, and it\u2019s never been the same between us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I got married,\u201d responded Mount, who wed Darah Trang<\/strong>, with whom he shares two children, in 2018.<\/p>\n

Behar then quipped, \u201cI know. That\u2019s what I mean.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following Wednesday\u2019s episode, Behar took viewers behind the scenes of her impromptu moment on the latest episode of the \u201cBehind the Table\u201d podcast<\/a> hosted by The View<\/em> executive producer Brian Teta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll morning I\u2019d been hearing about Anson Mount, and I\u2019d been making jokes about his name backstage,\u201d Behar explained. \u201cAnd then when he came out, I just felt like kissing him. I said, \u2018Lips,\u2019 and then those lips hit mine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Have you ever gotten it on with a lady?\u201d Behar responded, \u201cNo, but someday I will,\u201d to which Bernhard, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Behar shared her husband Steve Janowitz<\/strong>\u2019s reaction to the kiss, revealing, \u201cSteve wrote, \u2018Cut that out!\u2019 In the middle of the show I got a text.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mount also addressed his steamy moment with Behar in an interview with TV Insider<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI asked my wife to promise me that she wouldn\u2019t divorce me,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tABC viewers couldn\u2019t help but notice Joy Behar leaving the table on The View during an interview with Carrie Underwood, which came a year after the daytime host criticized the singer\u2019s performance at Donald Trump\u2018s second presidential inauguration. During the Tuesday, March 24, episode of The View, American Idol\u2018s Underwood, 43, Lionel Richie and Luke [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mount continued, \u201cI hadn\u2019t been on The View<\/em> in like 13 years; that was the last time I saw Joy Behar. I brought her flowers for her birthday, and I guess I made an impression. We\u2019ll see what she does the next time!\u201d<\/p>\n
