Tom Holland<\/strong><\/a> is sharing a new update on his Fred Astaire<\/strong><\/a> biopic!<\/p>\n

If you forgot, back in 2021 the now 30-year-old Spider-Man<\/em> star announced that he’ll be starring as the legendary dancer and actor in an upcoming movie, directed by Paul King<\/strong> and written by Steven Levenson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Nearly five years after the project was announced, Tom<\/strong> appeared on Good Morning America<\/a><\/em> earlier this week where he shared that getting ready to strap into his dancing shoes to start preparing for the movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, what I love about my job is the challenges,\u201d he explained. \u201cWe have Fred Astaire next, is what we\u2019re planning on doing. And as soon as I finish with these tours, I\u2019m diving back into the dance studio.”<\/p>\n

\u201cI did my first few rehearsals recently, and it both filled me with excitement and absolute dread because I\u2019ve got so much work to do to try and do Fred proud,\u201d Tom<\/strong> added.<\/p>\n

The Odyssey <\/em>actor went on note that he has \u201ca desire to use no doubles, to do all of the dancing, to shoot those dances in one shot \u2013 how [Astaire] would have done it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The role of Fred Astaire<\/strong>, and his story, seem to be a hot property lately. In addition to Tom<\/strong>, this other actor will also star as the iconic entertainer.<\/a><\/p>\n
