Lily Allen<\/a> is set to lift the curtain on her life and career once more in a new Prime Video documentary.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Lily Allen is putting her personal life even further into the spotlight with the forthcoming Prime Video doc<\/p>\n

The feature is directed by Mat Whitecross, known for music documentaries Oasis: Supersonic and Coldplay: A Head Full of Dreams, and comes eight years after Lily’s autobiographical book, My Thoughts Exactly, which included tales of her sordid fling with Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher<\/a> and sleeping with female prostitutes.<\/p>\n

A press release notes that the upcoming documentary will “chart Lily’s extraordinary journey, from the “Queen of MySpace” who changed the rules of the music industry, to the cultural force she is today. As a pioneering woman in modern music, Lily’s sharp wit and candid storytelling directly paved the way for a generation of today’s biggest female artists.”<\/p>\n

It promises “a rich and revealing portrait of an artist defined by her creative fearlessness.”<\/p>\n

It adds that: “This is Lily Allen<\/a> as she’s never been seen before. Raw, real, and redefining what it means to thrive in the spotlight.”<\/p>\n

\nThe Smile hitmaker’s personal life has become a hot topic after she channelled her heartbreaking split from Stranger Things star David Harbour into her latest album West End Girl.<\/p>\n

\nDuring performances of the record, she leaned into the album\u2019s themes with theatrical props, including a shoebox of letters from \u201cbrokenhearted women\u201d and a giant cloth printed with receipts for gifts her estranged spouse allegedly bought for others.<\/p>\n

\nLast month, the 51-year-old actor finally broke his silence on the breakup album, admitting it’s \u201cweird\u201d to hear music inspired by the collapse of his marriage.<\/p>\n

\nHe said the version of events presented in the songs was not his own experience.<\/p>\n

\nDavid told Variety: \u201cIt was weird. I do believe that it is the privilege of every artist to use their experience to create art, and so I respect her for doing that.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI can\u2019t really say that much more, because it\u2019s my private life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe actor said he remains determined to keep details of the relationship private despite intense public interest.<\/p>\n

\nHe added: \u201cIn spite of the fact that a lot of people don\u2019t allow me a private life \u2013 I value it. And I also value the lives of the people that I interact with privately. I just won\u2019t speak about that.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cStories are complex, and that\u2019s why I say I respect her creation of art to channel her experience. It wasn\u2019t my experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nDavid and Lily, 41, met on the celebrity dating app Raya and married in Las Vegas in 2020 before separating in early 2025 after four years of marriage.<\/p>\n

\nLily has previously described the West End Girl album as a \u201cmixture of fact and fiction\u201d and cautioned listeners against treating its lyrics as \u201cgospel\u201d.<\/p>\n
