Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> is releasing a new album petal<\/em><\/strong><\/a> in just a few days, and you might be wondering about the reason behind the name of her eighth studio album.<\/p>\n

The forthcoming record includes lead single “hate that i made you love me,” which went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the 33-year-old superstar’s 10th No. 1 record on the chart.<\/p>\n

petal<\/em> is the follow-up to 2024’s eternal sunshine<\/em>, and she explained the album title while presenting the new music in a meeting.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s called\u00a0petal<\/em>, basically about something that is full of life, growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging,” she began.<\/p>\n

Ariana<\/strong>\u00a0also\u00a0unveiled the full track list<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0petal<\/em>\u00a0at a tour stop, and also teased the music video<\/a> for the title track at a recent concert stop in NYC. The album is set to be released on July 31.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Ariana<\/strong>‘s love life has once again been making headlines as she’s rekindled romance with an ex from years ago.<\/a><\/p>\n
