Fans were confused by Conan O’Brien<\/a><\/strong>‘s drastic change of hair in the latest episode of his podcast.<\/p>\n

The 63-year-old comedian sat down with Molly Shannon<\/strong><\/a> for an episode of Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend<\/em> uploaded on Monday (July 20), but many viewers were more focused on Conan<\/strong>‘s slicked-back hairdo.<\/p>\n

“Sitting here watching thinking, are we just ignoring his hair?” said one of the top YouTube comments.<\/p>\n

“They mistakenly oiled his hair, not his chair. Easy mistake, one letter off,” joked another person.<\/p>\n

Conan<\/strong> shared a better look at his hairstyle in an Instagram post showing him posing alongside guest Molly Shannon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The comments on his Instagram were also primarily about his hairstyle, as those familiar with the comedian are used to his signature pompadour. <\/p>\n

Conan O’Brien responds to the jokes about his hair<\/h3>\n

He followed up on the hair post on Tuesday (July 21) night with a new Instagram post<\/a> showing stills from the podcast and a closer look at his hair. The photo slideshow included four of the same pictures of Conan<\/strong> from the slideshow, each with a screenshot of a funny hair-related comment pasted on top.<\/p>\n
