Cardi B<\/a> says people constantly underestimate just how \u201csavvy\u201d she is. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Cardi B is a savvy queen<\/p>\n
The 33-year-old worked as a stripper before finding fame as a singer, and going on to sell a 100 million records worldwide, and told USA Today in a new interview that she\u2019s often sold short. <\/p>\n
She mused: \u201cI don’t think people know how savvy I am. I think they just see Cardi, and she’s loud and she’s just [herself], but I’m very into securing my future.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cardi added that \u201cit\u2019s not even about me anymore\u201d, but is \u201cabout my kids\u201d. <\/p>\n

The Money star has three children with her ex-husband Offset, and welcomed a baby boy into the world with her NFL player boyfriend Stefon Diggs in November 2025. <\/p>\n
\nHer financial competence is reflected in the fact that she\u2019s become an equity partner in Zevia, a company which makes \u201czero sugar, zero calorie, naturally sweetened beverages\u201d, as well as being their brand ambassador. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cTo me, being a shareholder means that everything that I invest in, everything that I’m a partner with, I want it to be big. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI don’t want to be part of something that [does] small projects. I want something where I go to every store and I see my product there, because that’s what really makes me feel good.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI always wanted to win. Before I had kids, I always wanted to be successful.”<\/p>\n
\nWhen it comes to her kids, Cardi tries to stick to a healthy diet – but is all about giving treats if they are in \u201cmoderation\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI want to give them healthier candies [and] healthier sodas, because I just feel like, ‘Damn, am I doing something bad when I get them something that is really not healthy?’<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt makes me feel like I’m a bad person, like a bad mom, but it’s like \u2026 everything in moderation.”<\/p>\n
\nCardi has also attempted to embrace a healthier diet for herself now that she\u2019s in her thirties. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI\u2019m a little bit older, and now I’m being more careful in the things that I consume. I just told somebody the other day: I’m not the best healthy eater. I might eat 10 pieces of chicken wings, but I told them I balance it out.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI’m not one of those people that always ate healthy\u2026 I feel like as soon as you hit your 30s you need to be more health conscious.”<\/p>\n
