Steven McBee Jr.<\/strong><\/a> is not ready to dip his toe back into the dating pool just yet after his messy split<\/a> from Allie Eklund<\/strong><\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am not dating right now. I\u2019m solely focused on my family, myself and, obviously, the businesses,\u201d Steven, 33, exclusively told Us<\/em> on Thursday, July 16, referring to his family\u2019s McBee Farm & Cattle Co. company and their other ventures, including selling meat and tallow skincare.<\/p>\n

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys<\/em> star noted that the rush to date after his breakup with Allie<\/a>, 29, in April goes \u201cback to that pressure<\/a> that I feel with my family all settling down and starting their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

While two of Steven\u2019s younger brothers have found The One already, he told Us<\/em> he\u2019s trying not to compare himself to them. (Cole McBee<\/strong> is engaged to Kacie Adkison<\/strong><\/a>, with whom he shares daughter Blair. Jesse McBee<\/strong><\/a> is married to Alli McBee<\/strong>, and the couple share daughter Summer. The youngest brother, Brayden McBee<\/strong><\/a>, is single.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want that to persuade my timeline or affect my timeline. I think that\u2019s a bad way to do a relationship,\u201d Steven confessed. \u201cObviously, I think it contributed to the downfall of my last one.\u201d<\/p>\n

The McBee Farm & Cattle Co. CEO<\/a> added, \u201cI want to make sure I\u2019m in a relationship on the right timeline and for the right reasons. And so for that, I\u2019m just focused on myself, family and the businesses right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steven began dating Allie in fall 2025, which fans saw play out on season 3 of the Bravo series, airing now.<\/p>\n

Just weeks into their relationship, Steven told his family that he wanted to propose to Allie<\/a>, calling her The One.<\/p>\n

During the Monday, July 20, episode of the show, which was filmed in November 2025, Steven told his mom, Kristi McBee<\/strong>, that he was trying to figure out how soon was too soon to ask Allie\u2019s dad for her hand in marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went into it with really high expectations. I was like, \u2018I\u2019m gonna go down there, and her family\u2019s gonna love me. I\u2019m gonna woo her family, and by the end of the week, I\u2019ll be asking for her dad\u2019s blessing to marry her,\u2019\u201d Steven told Us<\/em> of meeting Allie\u2019s family over Thanksgiving 2025. \u201cI was head over heels, love drunk there.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the episode, Steven admitted that Allie\u2019s family wasn\u2019t as all-in on their relationship as he was, which took him aback.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went in with way too high of expectations,\u201d he recalled to Us<\/em>. \u201cHer family ended up loving me. It just took a little bit longer than I expected, but I had some really, really high expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steven shared on the episode that he had a list detailing the exact type of engagement ring Allie wanted in his phone. He confessed to Us<\/em> that he got a little ahead of himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I did not buy the ring,\u201d he added. \u201cThere was a financial component to it. I was gonna have to save up for a little bit for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steven never had a chance to pop the question, as he and Allie broke up in April. Their split came after Steven publicly accused Allie of cheating<\/a> on him at Stagecoach Music Festival, which she denied. (Steven later issued a public apology for his \u201ccruel and degrading\u201d messages about Allie and vowed to be \u201cbetter.\u201d<\/a>)<\/p>\n

While Steven is not currently focused on finding a new girlfriend, he told Us<\/em> that he still has a \u201clist\u201d of what his dream girl looks like \u2014 both physically and mentally.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs far as what I want to do with my wife and build a life together, not only on the personal side, but professionally, I want to work day in and day out with my wife,\u201d he shared. \u201cI think that is such a cool experience to say that hey, we built something from the ground up together. I still really want to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allie, meanwhile, exclusively told Us<\/em><\/a> earlier this month that cowboys aren\u2019t off the table when it comes to who she wants to date next \u2014 despite her messy split from Steven.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhenever I was dating Steven, you know, I didn\u2019t think that I was going to have first dates again. So, I\u2019ve been wrapping my head around that,\u201d she confessed.<\/p>\n

Allie explained, \u201cI really would prefer to date someone that\u2019s been in my life before, is what I am thinking. [Someone] that I know has a proven track record of supporting me.\u201d<\/p>\n
