Heidi Montag<\/a> has struggled to balance her parental responsibilities with launching her pop comeback.<\/p>\n

Heidi Montag has reflected on her comeback<\/p>\n

The 39-year-old star recently co-headlined Neon Skies Festival alongside Kesha<\/a> and Slayyyter – but Heidi acknowledged that it’s tough to balance her various commitments.<\/p>\n

Heidi – who has Gunner, eight, and Ryker, three, with her husband Spencer Pratt – told Us Weekly: “You know, my children [Gunner and Ryker] are my priority, so I wanted to give space for them getting sick or me getting sick or who knows anything happening.<\/p>\n

“So little by little, I\u2019ve just been working on this show since I got the call, and then really ramping it up in the past few weeks as well. I\u2019ve consistently been doing rehearsal for months now, and then you know, incorporating that.”<\/p>\n

\t\t\t<\/p>\n

Despite the pressures, Heidi is determined to enjoy her return to the music business.<\/p>\n

\nShe said: “I\u2019m feeling really confident and comfortable with what is, and I\u2019m just trying to take the pressure and the stress away because it\u2019s fun, and the fact that this is a job and living my dream is so exciting.<\/p>\n

\n“So I just want to be able to stay on that stage and fully be in presence in that moment and to be able to have fun and enjoy doing it because that\u2019s what the news is all about at the end of the day.”<\/p>\n

\nHeidi feels she’s learned lots of important lessons during the course of her career, and the ups and downs that she’s experienced.<\/p>\n

\nHeidi – who has been married to Spencer since 2008 – explained: “I think that you don\u2019t just have one shot in life. There\u2019s so much pressure. Get the right course, and this is it. It\u2019s like that\u2019s not true.<\/p>\n

\n“Life is always shifting and shaping and changing, and it\u2019s never too late to be who you want to be, and a lot of things take time and practice.”<\/p>\n
