Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> alum Brittany Cartwright<\/strong><\/a> is proudly showing off her swimsuit body after losing a stubborn 40 pounds following the April 2021 birth of her son<\/a>, Cruz, whom she shares with husband Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Brittany announced in a January 11, 2022, Instagram post<\/a> that she was joining Jenny Craig as their new spokesperson. \u201c\u2028\u2028My weight loss<\/a> and fitness journey has been no secret since having Cruz \u2014 I\u2019ve tried EVERYTHING. It is something I\u2019ve struggled with and continues to be a goal I\u2019m working toward,\u201d she wrote in the caption next to a photo holding her adorable son.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBeing my healthiest is my top priority as a new mom, and the support of Jenny Craig is going to get me there!!\u2028\u2028 I\u2019ll be following their new Max Up program that is all about providing the right tools and encouragement to create healthier habits so that I can feel empowered to be the best version of myself,\u201d she continued, adding, \u201cNot only am I excited to finally keep up with this little munchkin but I\u2019m ready to start my new chapter in 2022 being physically and mentally healthy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The reality star documented some of her favorite items from her weight loss program that included blueberry pancakes and sausage, a cheesy chicken and rice bowl, a chicken ranch melt and other delicious-looking but calorie-conscious items.<\/p>\n Brittany surpassed her goal of losing 30 pounds by dropping 34 instead, so she decided to keep going until she lost an additional six more. \u201cIt\u2019s been absolutely incredible. \u201cI\u2019ve only got six more pounds to go. I\u2019m so proud of myself. I\u2019m so proud of my journey, \u201d she revealed in a May 2022 Instagram Story. The following month, 26 weeks into the program, Brittany hit her target weight with a 40-pound weight loss.<\/p>\n The Kentucky native proudly showed off her slimmed down figure in a plunging royal blue one-piece swimsuit, sharing an August 2022 mirror selfie with fans in her Stories. Jax couldn\u2019t help but gush about how terrific she looked and how the hard work paid off.<\/p>\n \u201cI am so proud of my wife she has worked so hard on something that wasn\u2019t easy for her \u2026 you\u2019re my idol babe! You look absolutely amazing,\u201d he gushed on Twitter while reposting Brittany\u2019s swimsuit selfie as the family vacationed in Cancun, Mexico.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The couple married in June 2019<\/a> after dating for four years and getting engaged in 2018. Jax starred on Vanderpump Rules<\/em> since the show\u2019s 2013 inception and Brittany joined the cast in season 4. The pair announced in December 2020 that they were departing ahead of season 9<\/a>, revealing via Instagram, \u201cWe are excited to take this time to focus on our growing family and share with you our new endeavors.\u201d<\/p>\n Brittany got her own swimsuit collaboration with Cupshe in June 2023, and discussed her weight loss journey after giving birth to Cruz.\u00a0\u201cI definitely felt the pressure [to lose weight] because I did gain a lot of weight through my pregnancy,\u201d she told Us Weekly<\/em>, adding, \u201cBut it was worth every pound. I would do it over and over again.
