The 118 is together again following Peter Krause<\/b><\/a>\u2019s shocking 9-1-1<\/a> <\/i>exit ahead of season 9.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeter Krause [and] Ryan Guzman<\/b> Stache Battle,\u201d Kenneth Choi <\/b>wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Friday, July 17, sharing a video of his fellow costars deep in a staring contest of sorts.<\/p>\n

In the footage, Krause, 60, and Guzman, 38, each wore baseball caps and sunglasses while looking at one another.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like your mustache,\u201d Guzman said, which Krause repeated back.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPeter Krause\u2019s Captain Bobby Nash has risen from the dead \u2014 well, sort of \u2014 and is sending 9-1-1 fans a message from his latest adventure. \u201cAh, bonjour,\u201d Krause, 60, began his Instagram video message on Friday, July 10, which showed the actor seemingly backpacking in the wilderness. \u201cLa vie est belle.\u201d He continued, saying, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The two actors subsequently whipped off their glasses, looking inquisitively at each other.<\/p>\n

As for the winner of the so-called mustache battle, Choi, 54, had a theory.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan you guess who won,\u201d he quipped via Instagram comment, prompting hoards of fans to cast their votes in favor of Krause.<\/p>\n

Krause starred as Captain Bobby Nash for the first eight seasons of Ryan Murphy<\/b>\u2019s 9-1-1, <\/i>which featured Choi and Guzman as members of his firefighting team. Krause\u2019s character was ultimately killed off<\/span><\/a> in the April 2025 season finale.<\/p>\n

When the next season began in October 2025, Bobby\u2019s fire station and wife Athena Grant (Angela Bassett<\/b>) were left to face their grief after his heartbreaking death.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a very big emotional thing on the show, losing Peter and Bobby Nash, and I know that a lot of the audience took that very personal,\u201d Jennifer Love Hewitt<\/b>, who plays 911 operator Maddie Han, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/i><\/span><\/a> one month earlier. \u201cWe did too, and I want the audience to know that. As a cast and as a show, we took it as seriously as they took it. We miss him dearly.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ninth season, which concluded in May, featured a handful of tributes<\/a> to Bobby.<\/p>\n
