\nThe 24-year-old influencer recently revealed that her daughter Whimsy was diagnosed with cancer late last year but she has now taken to Instagram to reveal that the tot is doing well after treatment.<\/p>\n
\nNara \u2013 who is married to model Lucky Blue Smith \u2013 shared: \u201cI just wanted to come on here and say thank you so, so much for all your kind messages, prayers, support. It truly has meant so, so much to us. Lucky and I have been going through this and processing it for the last eight months, and we were debating on even sharing such a private part of our life.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe wanted to wait until she was done with treatment and knowing what the outcome of her situation would be before sharing it and even finding the words to share it. Now that she\u2019s finally in remission, it felt like I could find the words to share.\u201d<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\nNara explained that while she and Lucky were unsure whether or not to share details of their daughter\u2019s illness, they ultimately decided to open up in order to raise awareness.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cThe whole point of me sharing our experience was to shed light on what so many families go through and battle privately. Going through chemo treatments opened my eyes to how expensive medical care is and what a toll it takes on families, specifically.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cSo, I\u2019ve been researching charities and foundations to support, but in the meantime, I want to post some links that could help families.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nNara also admitted that their family is trying to return to normal life following their ordeal but are finding it tough.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cLucky and I have been trying to return to everyday life and taking it day by day. I don\u2019t know whether life will ever feel normal again, but we\u2019re trying to navigate this next chapter the best that we can. But with all of that being said, thank you so much to every single person for your kindness.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI\u2019m sending all my love to families that are actively still going through this fight.\u201d<\/p>\n
