Big Brother 28<\/em><\/a> live feeders know that a few condoms in the house seem to have disappeared. But not to worry \u2014 evicted houseguest Ashley Trail<\/strong> thinks she knows what happened to the paraphylictics<\/a>, as they are known in Big Brother<\/em> parlance.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a little mystery in the house, in the storage room, where we noticed that some protection for sensual use was taken, and that was a whole drama,\u201d Ashley, 24, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Friday, July 17. \u201cWe were like, \u2018Who took it?\u2019 And I was like, in my mind, \u2018Wait, isn\u2019t it quite literally obvious?\u201d<\/p>\n

Ashley was referring to the ongoing showmance<\/a> between houseguests Rome Seymour<\/strong> and Lyric Medeiros<\/strong>. The two first began flirting on the second day in the house and their relationship quickly became physical, something many of their castmates noticed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were my bunkmates \u2014 Lyric was right on top, and I was like, \u2018do I hear a little bit of squeaking and kissing?\u2019\u201d Ashley recalled.<\/p>\n

Ashley was evicted by a 14-0 vote during the Thursday, July 16 episode, making her the first one out on the show\u2019s 28th season. Once out of the house, she told Us<\/em> that \u201csome of the house doesn\u2019t even know\u201d that Rome and Lyric are a showmance.<\/p>\n

Thinking back to the condom discussion, which occurred just a few days into the season, Ashley said it wasn\u2019t obvious to the others who had taken them. (It has not been confirmed who actually took the condoms and some fans have speculated it could have been another houseguest looking to create the illusion of another showmance.)<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of people are like, \u2018Who\u2019s in a showmance?\u2019\u201d Ashley recounted. \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Oh, like, I guess people are unaware, and I don\u2019t want to be the one to spread the news.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

But even those who know about Rome, 28, and Lyric, 25, don\u2019t seem bothered by the duo\u2019s bond.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe house actually didn\u2019t give an F at all that they were a showmance,\u201d Ashley said. \u201cEverybody thought that it was a little bit of a love reality show situation, which I was so surprised by, because whenever you\u2019re in the Big Brother<\/em> house, usually the showmance will really stick together the whole game\u2026 nobody was threatened at all whatsoever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking about her own game, Ashley acknowledged that, even on the block, she was in a good position to stay, until some late campaigning backfired. Her eviction episode showed her rallying votes and trying to use her apparent safety to bring her opponents onto her side.<\/p>\n
