More details are emerging about the musical performances at Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Madison Square Garden wedding.<\/p>\n

Former NFL punter Pat McAfee<\/strong><\/a> revealed on his eponymous ESPN talk show on Monday, July 13, that Avril Lavigne<\/strong><\/a> was among the stars who took the stage, joining the likes of Paul McCartney<\/strong> and Stevie Nicks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to McAfee, Lavigne, 41, serenaded the happy couple \u2014 and their A-list guests \u2014 with her 2002 hit song \u201cSk8r Boi.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess me saying Avril Lavigne played \u2018Skr8 Boi\u2019 was the first time that it came out,\u201d he said<\/a>. \u201cBut she was awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cTo be clear, those musicians \u2026 really cool. Like, one would just call out the other and then they would come up and they would just do their s***.\u201d<\/p>\n

McAfee, 39, said that he wasn\u2019t familiar with all of the songs performed at the July 3 nuptials, including one by Swift\u2019s pal Ice Spice<\/strong>, but the rapper \u201chad a lot of energy up there.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ESPN analyst shared further details about his experience at the wedding<\/a> on Monday\u2019s episode of his talk show.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was the most spectacular evening I have ever been a part of. I cannot wait to chit-chat about that throughout the day,\u201d McAfee said. \u201cI\u2019m sure there was something that I agreed to not talk about, but from the things that I\u2019ve been reading about other people talking about it like kinda sorta cause there were no phones in there. There is no notes section, no writing or anything so it\u2019s literally all just memory.\u201d<\/p>\n

McAfee also defended Swift and Kelce, both 36, from criticism over their lavish wedding in the middle of New York City.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo anybody that\u2019s saying anything negative about that place \u2026 now granted, shutting down a pulsing city and that whole thing, you guys can have your thoughts on that,\u201d he said. \u201cThe event itself was like the most spectacular grand thing I\u2019ve ever seen in my entire life.\u201d<\/p>\n
