Or did <\/em>they?<\/p>\nEven with the announcement, fans had their doubts. But Ella and Johnny really did meet up!<\/p>\n<\/noscript>In early July of 2023, Ella Johnson stunned her fans and followers by revealing that Johnny Chao had actually come to visit. We still don\u2019t know much about how they made these plans.<\/p>\n
But Ella did hint, in a now-deleted post, that Johnny might be coming to visit on the Fourth of July. We don\u2019t yet know if she knew, with certainty, that Johnny would show.<\/p>\n
But he did. He documented his trip to the US. It could have all been faked, but that would have been a cruel joke. That\u2019s never been the vibe with these two.<\/p>\nMonths after an at-times miserable season of 90 Day Fiance, Ella Johnson is showing off some dramatic weight loss on social media. (Instagram)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nThat doesn\u2019t mean that there wasn\u2019t a lot of real pain and disappointment, however.<\/p>\n
After a couple of years of promises to meet up that never manifested \u2014 and a lot of wasted money on tickets \u2014 they called it quits last September.<\/p>\n
Ella made the announcement on Instagram at the time. She was tired of holding on to hope that was only bringing her pain.<\/p>\nIn September of 2022, Ella Johnson announced that she and Johnny Chao were over. We only know limited (at best) details about his journey and his visit to Ella.<\/p>\n

The public interest is there. A lot of fans remember their journey \u2014 and all of its ups and downs.<\/p>\n
Sadly, it was clearly too late for them to be filming for the show. And, if they had been filming a new season, it\u2019s unlikely that either of them would have had contractual wiggle-room to share the news.<\/p>\nHaving a semi-private conversation (they are still on camera, after all), Johnny reassures Ella that he doesn\u2019t blame her. They both signed up for the show, but that doesn\u2019t mean that the emotions aren\u2019t real. Fan theories are circulating. We\u2019d rather hold out to hear what Ella and Johnny have to say.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
