Yellowstone<\/em><\/a>\u2018s spinoff Dutton Ranch<\/em> ended with some shocking twists \u2014 including a pregnancy reveal \u2014 but is the show returning for season 2?<\/p>\n

The hit Paramount+ franchise started with Taylor Sheridan<\/strong>\u2018s hit series Yellowstone<\/em><\/a>, which premiered in 2018. Fans got to know Kelly Reilly <\/strong>and Cole Hauser<\/strong>\u2019s characters, Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, who had a decades-long relationship enduring peaks and pitfalls. The original show came to an end in 2024, later expanding its universe with Luke Grimes<\/strong>\u2018 CBS show Marshals<\/em> and Dutton Ranc<\/em>h.<\/p>\n

Dutton Ranch<\/em> quickly found success when it premiered<\/a> on Paramount+ in 2026. After the show was renewed, Reilly and Hauser weighed in on where the show could go from here.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we\u2019re taking it one season at a time,\u201d Reilly told The Hollywood Reporter in July 2026 about the spinoff\u2019s future, before Hauser noted, \u201cThis has been a beast. The finale didn\u2019t have enough time to clarify the paternity, however, because Oreana\u2019s dad, Rob-Will (Jai Courtney<\/strong>), was shot and killed by his brother, Joaquin (Juan Pablo Raba<\/strong>), before she could leave town. Carter, meanwhile, was kidnapped as revenge against his parents, Beth (Reilly) and Rip (Hauser).<\/p>\n

Who Is Returning for Season 2 of \u2018Dutton Ranch\u2019?<\/h2>\n

Reilly, Hauser, Little, Raba, J. R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca<\/strong> and Lind are coming back alongside Annette Bening<\/strong> and Ed Harris<\/strong>, who is going to have a larger role when Dutton Ranch returns.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI think season 2 is going to feel very much more Ed\u2019s show,\u201d Reilly told TV Insider in July 2026. \u201cThis is not the Beth and Rip show. This is Dutton Ranch, and there\u2019s four lead characters.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reilly specifically highlighted Bening as well. \u201cIt\u2019s such a privilege to have them come join our show,\u201d she added. \u201cI\u2019ve said this before, I feel like they made us legit.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress continued: \u201cWe could have just been a little soapy spinoff and we\u2019re not because of them. We\u2019re a drama, we\u2019re a new show, and it\u2019s got some heavyweights in it. We\u2019re very proud to be working with them.\u201d<\/p>\n
