Jason Tartick<\/strong><\/a> and girlfriend Kathryn Hurley<\/strong><\/a> are a paw-fect match after meeting in the cutest way possible: through a dog adoption.<\/p>\n

After adopting his golden retriever Teddy in March 2025 \u2014 through Wags & Walks Nashville, which Hurley founded and where she serves as the executive director \u2014 Tartick exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> that his dream girl\u2019s \u201cgotta love dogs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c[She] has to be a fan of Teddy and the idea of rescuing. That\u2019s so important,\u201d the Bachelor Nation alum<\/a> said of his ideal girlfriend in July 2025.<\/p>\n

Four months later, Us<\/em> exclusively confirmed that Tartick and Hurley were dating after being spotted spending time together in early November 2025.<\/p>\n

Tartick announced on March 4 that he adopted dog Teddy from Wags & Walks Nashville after previously sharing two golden retrievers<\/a> with ex-fianc\u00e9e Kaitlyn Bristowe<\/strong><\/a>. (Tartick and Bristowe announced their split<\/a> in August 2023 after four years together.)<\/p>\n

\u201cNot sure who rescued who, but we got each other! Thank you @wagsandwalksnashville,\u201d he captioned the Instagram video<\/a> of him signing the adoption papers and officially becoming Teddy\u2019s owner.<\/p>\n

Hurley, who founded Wags & Walks Nashville in 2019, told People<\/em><\/a> in a statement at the time that the organization was \u201cthrilled to have helped Jason find his forever pup!\u201d (It is unclear whether they had any direct contact with each other at this point in time.)<\/p>\n

She explained, \u201cAt Wags & Walks, we believe every rescue dog has a perfect match, and seeing them find that connection makes our work so rewarding. Jason\u2019s decision to adopt not only changes his dog\u2019s life forever but also helps raise awareness about the importance of giving rescue dogs a second chance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> understands that Hurley amicably split from musician husband Rajiv Dhall<\/strong> after nearly five years of marriage. The exes finalized their divorce later that year.<\/p>\n

September 2025<\/h2>\n

After living in Nashville for a few years, Tartick announced on September 23 that he and dog Teddy moved to New York City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

November 2025<\/h2>\n

The Bachelorette<\/em><\/a> alum was spotted getting cozy with Hurley at the opening of the restaurant Craig\u2019s in Nashville on November 11, according to a photo shared by hospitality guru Dante Deiana<\/strong> via X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Days later, a source exclusively confirmed to Us<\/em><\/a> that Tartick and Hurley were a couple.<\/p>\n
