Lenny Kravitz<\/a> wears leather pants to exercise in so that he can fit in a workout \u201canytime, anywhere\u201d. <\/p>\n

Lenny Kravitz can exercise in leather pants<\/p>\n

The 62-year-old singer still has a physique men half his age would be jealous of, and can often be seen donning his trademark skintight leathers while working up a sweat. <\/p>\n

In an interview with Men\u2019s Health\u00a0Music + Muscle Issue, he explained his thinking, as he said: \u201cI perform onstage in leather, denim, whatever, so those are the pants I wear to train. It also means I can fit in a workout anytime, anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it comes to his leather trousers, he can also use them to see if he needs to lose or gain any weight.<\/p>\n

\t\t\t<\/p>\n

He laughed: \u201cI can gauge everything by how I\u2019m in my pants. Like, if my pants are a little tight, I know I\u2019m getting outta\u2019 shape. My friend Denzel Washington<\/a> gave me this phrase, \u2018The pants don\u2019t lie, the pants don\u2019t lie.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\nWhile some people work out in a bid to build up muscles, Lenny isn\u2019t keen on looking too \u201cbig or bulky\u201d. <\/p>\n

\nInstead, he wants a \u201cvery narrow silhouette\u201d – more like \u201cSpider-Man meets Bruce Lee\u201d. <\/p>\n

\nLenny explained: \u201cBruce Lee looked good in clothes. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cHe\u2019s\u00a0bad – a thin, cool guy who obviously had muscle tone and who moved and flowed really gracefully.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nBut he won\u2019t go to extreme measures in the quest for fitness perfection – he\u2019s all about the natural method. <\/p>\n

\nLenny continued: \u201cAll this is natural: no peptides, no human growth hormone, no testosterone.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThere\u2019s nothing wrong if people want to do those things. But there\u2019s an alternative. You can do it naturally with exercise and food. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cIs it harder? Yes. Does it take more work? Yes. But that\u2019s how I choose to do it, and it\u2019s 100 per cent attainable.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nIn terms of his food, Lenny sticks to an intermittent fasting program – but unintentionally. While he doesn\u2019t like to eat anything before 3 or 4pm, his first meal of the day is usually an egg white omelette with vegetables, followed by a protein shake later on and then a salad to finish the day.<\/p>\n
