\nAlec continued to name more than 12 of his and Sam\u2019s castmates on the film, as he said: \u201cThere’s a lot of other people in there who I enjoyed working with, but my God, my God. What an experience that was.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n‘What an experience it was to do that movie with those people. I mean, every time you turned around to do a scene, you were with this great actor.’<\/p>\n
\nHe then went on to tell an unrelated story about Ron Grutman, before finally mentioning Sam again as he concluded his video. <\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cThat is one of the few movies I have ever done where I remember the whole movie. That’s what a fan I am of that work. Not me. I’m not a fan of my work but I am a fan of their work.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnyway, oh my God.\u00a0 My God. Sam Neill. My love to his family, My love to his family.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSome social media users took to Reddit to weigh in on Alec\u2019s tribute, with one sighing: \u201cThis is a man who is thinking about his own eventual death because of the death of a colleague, instead of eulogising the colleague at all.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhile another said the \u201cnarcissism is insane\u201d, someone else said: \u201cSo many name drops it’s like a slow, meandering version of We Didn’t Start The Fire.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nOthers were on hand to defend Alec, with one writing: \u201cHe\u2019s just vibing with memories, sometimes old people ramble haha.<\/p>\n
