Allie Eklund<\/strong><\/a> is breaking her silence \u2014 and sharing her side of the story \u2014 after ex Steven McBee Jr.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0tried to get her a percentage of Kacie Adkison<\/strong>\u2019s skincare business while filming The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happened in real life, off camera, was I was asked to be a part of the tallow business,\u201d Allie, 29, exclusively tells Us Weekly<\/em>, referring to Steven\u2019s soon-to-be sister-in-law Kacie\u2019s skincare business<\/a> with products using beef tallow under the McBee Farms umbrella.<\/p>\n

Allie says she was \u201ctransparent\u201d with both Kacie and Steven \u2014 the latter of whom she dated for less than one year before they split in April \u2014 about how busy she was when they first approached her for guidance with marketing in the fall of 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a lot going on business wise on my own with my family\u2019s businesses and my personal businesses that I\u2019ve been involved in for a decade,\u201d Allie, who helped her family\u2019s Triple E<\/a> farm launch Triple E Mercantile<\/a>, recalls. \u201cI communicated to them that I would love to help for free in whatever capacity that I can. They needed more help, though.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allie notes that she didn\u2019t know what was going on between Kacie and Steven, who initially said he\u2019d support Kacie with the business and help promote it on McBee\u2019s website and social media accounts.<\/p>\n

\u201cStephen was having conversations about me getting a percentage before ever speaking with me about that<\/a>,\u201d Allie claims. \u201cThat was the first I had heard of it when they brought that to my attention, I had no idea he was asking for that behind closed doors.\u201d<\/p>\n

The model insists, \u201cI never asked for that, and I actually ultimately declined that percentage because I didn\u2019t feel like I had the capacity to take on another business venture at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allie tells Us<\/em> that despite declining a percentage in the company, she told Kacie and Steven, 33, at the time that she would help \u201cfor free with what I could.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allie\u2019s comments come three months after Steven accused her of cheating on him<\/a> at Stagecoach Music Festival in April, which she denied. He alleged in a since-deleted social media post that Allie was getting \u201ccozy\u201d with another man after he left the California-based festival for Missouri.<\/p>\n

While the couple split over the controversy, the early days of their romance have been front and center on season 3 of The McBee Dynasty<\/em><\/a>, including Steven\u2019s desire to have Allie join forces with Kacie as her business started to grow.<\/p>\n

During the Monday, July 13, episode of the hit Bravo show, the tension between Steven and Kacie began to boil over when he suggested Allie come in and take over marketing \u2014 for a cut of the business.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe did tell me that the tallow business is mine,\u201d Kacie told Allie on the episode during a one-on-one chat. \u201cI haven\u2019t gotten paid yet. I have put in around $12,000 into the business. I\u2019ve been working on it five days a week.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allie noted that she thought Kacie, who is engaged to Steven\u2019s brother Cole McBee<\/strong>, would \u201csave the farm\u201d with her side hustle, adding that she would gladly offer assistance when it came to marketing.<\/p>\n

Steven, however, later told Allie that he had the idea to use tallow in skincare in 2023 but his ex-girlfriend Calah Jackson<\/strong><\/a> didn\u2019t want to run it so he approached Kacie.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s so busy being a mom, we\u2019re 300 orders behind,\u201d Steven claimed to Allie on the episode. \u201cIf we\u2019re going to scale this, it needs to be a team effort.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Steven had a sitdown with Kacie later that episode, she was surprised that he\u2019d changed his tune about the money breakdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cI told you at the beginning, you keep 100 percent of the profits. I thought it was going to be a little side project that you could work on. It\u2019s not,\u201d Steven said. \u201cIt\u2019s a monster that we\u2019re sitting on if we do it right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steven has been the CEO of McBee Farm & Cattle Co<\/a>. since his father, Steven \u201cSteve\u201d McBee Sr.<\/strong>, stepped down amid his crop insurance fraud case that resulted in a two-year jail sentence<\/a> beginning in December 2025.<\/p>\n

Steven told Kacie that he thought the business could grow to $5 million a year but only if he and Allie helped on the \u201cbackend\u201d and therefore, the \u201cprofits can\u2019t go 100 percent\u201d to her anymore.<\/p>\n

He suggested that Kacie get 40 percent, McBee Farms get 40 percent and Allie take home 20 percent of the profits.<\/p>\n

Kacie, however, said she wouldn\u2019t agree to anything before talking it over with Cole, who fully had her back.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want you and Allie to help but it also makes me really nervous because Allie\u2019s only been in my life one month,\u201d Kacie confessed.<\/p>\n

Allie, for her part, tells Us<\/em> that she had an \u201cin-depth business conversation\u201d with Kacie and Steven when she learned that he was negotiating for her behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t feel like I could, you know, bring the value that I wanted to at that time, and I ultimately chose to not get involved in the business,\u201d Allie shares<\/a>. \u201cBut I wanted to support them as a friend wherever I could.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allie explains that she and Kacie even discussed doing a collection together with the tallow, to see how \u201csales go from there,\u201d but her abrupt split from Steven ended that possibility<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, since breaking up, we didn\u2019t end up doing that. And I know a big concern of hers was what if you break up and you have this percentage?\u201d she continues. \u201cAnd I communicated that that\u2019s something that should be in an operating agreement. That way, there\u2019s no question around that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite liking Kacie\u2019s ideas, Allie says \u201cultimately\u201d she realized that she does business \u201ca little bit different\u201d than the McBees and \u201cchose not to get involved.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kacie is still running the tallow company<\/a>, according to social media, while Allie is busy with her own business ventures, including Triple E Mercantile<\/a>, an extension of her family\u2019s farm, Triple E<\/a>, into producing ranch-made goods in the Texas Hill Country.<\/p>\n
