Abrams and exec Katie McGrath. The question was whether people are too quick to dismiss nepo babies, and as they discussed it, Whoopi was not happy with the term.<\/p>\n<p>-Whoopi went in stating \u201cLet me tell you what being a nepo baby is like. When you say that about somebody, it\u2019s like calling them a DEI hire, It\u2019s like saying you didn\u2019t get this on your own,\u201d Goldberg continued. \u201cThis girl has \u2014 she\u2019s incredibly talented, and nepo babies, they don\u2019t have a choice who they\u2019re born to!\u201d to which Sunny Hostin immediately agreed.<\/p>\n<p>-She continued \u201cI know my kid doesn\u2019t like being called a nepo baby. What she does, she does on her own,\u201d she said. \u201cShe got it. She worked her behind off. And whether she is as successful as me, or not as successful, this is her life. Once they step out of your house, they are going out to do their thing. I get very annoyed with this subject because I don\u2019t like when people don\u2019t give \u2014 don\u2019t assume!\u201d she said. \u201cYou assumed somebody helped me. You\u2019re assuming that they did this.
