Actor Sam Neill has passed away at the age of 73. He was best known for his role as Doctor Alan Grant in the \u2018Jurassic Park\u2019 franchise. Other film roles included films such as \u201cIn the Mouth of Madness\u201d, \u201cHunt for the Wilderpeople\u201d and \u201cPossession\u201d. He also did television work such as \u201cPeaky Blinders\u201d and \u201cThe Tudors\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is with immense sadness that the wh\u0101nau [family] of Sam Neill share the news of his passing on Monday 13th July, in Sydney, Australia. Sam was surrounded by family and passed with the dignity that has characterised his whole life,\u201d Neill\u2019s family said in a statement. \u201cThe loss was sudden and unexpected but blessed by the fact that Sam remained cancer free.
