The 55-year-old actress is giving fans an intimate look inside her world in ‘Pamela, a Love Story’, and the blonde beauty has now revealed her motivation behind the project.<\/p>\n
In a new trailer, Pamela explains: “I want to take control of the narrative for the first time.”<\/p>\n
Pamela also acknowledges that she’s been partially responsible for some of the negative things that she’s been through in her life.<\/p>\n
She says: “I didn\u2019t feel like I had a lot of respect. I had to make a career out of the pieces left, but I’m not the damsel in distress. I put myself in crazy situations and survived them.”<\/p>\n
\nIn 2022, Lily James played Pamela in the biographical series ‘Pam and Tommy’.<\/p>\n
\nThe 33-year-old actress subsequently admitted that she was looking forward to watching Pamela’s Netflix documentary.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I can\u2019t wait to watch [Pamela\u2019s documentary] and learn more.<\/p>\n
\n“Of course we could only do our best based on the information we had, so for her to be able to tell her story is so important. I\u2019ll be watching along with the rest of the world. I\u2019m eager to see what she says and hear what it\u2019s all about.”<\/p>\n
\nThe brunette beauty underwent a dramatic transformation in order to play Pamela in the TV series.<\/p>\n
\nLily would spend up to four hours a day getting her hair and make-up done – but she still relished the experience.<\/p>\n
\nShe shared: “That\u2019s what\u2019s so cool about being an actor, is you get to do these polar opposites. Like I had brown frizzy hair and no make-up [in \u2018Yesterday\u2019], and then all of a sudden I\u2019m transformed after four hours of this incredible hair and make-up team.<\/p>\n
\n“It was great, I\u2019m so lucky. It\u2019s like playing make-believe the whole time.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
