She had a recurring role in <em>Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens<\/em>, and starred in <strong>Celine Song<\/strong>&#8216;s play <em>Endings<\/em> as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She played Madame Gao in the Netflix hit MCU series <em>Daredevil<\/em>, and later returned to the role in<em> Iron Fist and The Defenders<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Just lost someone very special to me. She was one of the coolest. Thinking aloud. #Gao,&#8221; wrote <em>Daredevil<\/em> co-star <a href=\"\/tags\/peter-shinkoda\/\" class=\"celebrity-tag-link\"><strong class=\"celebrity-tag-strong\">Peter Shinkoda<\/strong><\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/thepetershinkoda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a>, adding in another post: &#8220;I won\u2019t ever forget you. I learned every minute from you when we were together on and off set. I know wisdom &#8211; I\u2019d hang on your every word. We will meet again, my friend.
