HBO\u2019s House of the Dragon<\/em><\/a> has introduced tons of onscreen deaths \u2014 but how did each character die in George R. R. Martin<\/strong>\u2018s book?<\/p>\n

House of the Dragon<\/em> is following the steps of its predecessor as Game of Thrones<\/em><\/a> also suffered several leaks during its time on HBO. Game of Thrones, which aired from 2011 to 2019, was an adaptation of a series of fantasy novels by Martin titled A Song of Ice and Fire<\/em>.<\/p>\n

After eight seasons, the show ended with Bran Stark becoming king and banning Jon Snow (Kit Harington<\/strong>) to the Night\u2019s Watch after he killed Daenerys (Emilia Clarke<\/strong>). Sansa (Sophie Turner<\/strong>) was crowned Queen of the North, Arya (Maisie Williams<\/strong>) decided to travel west and King\u2019s Landing went up in flames, which left many viewers less than thrilled.<\/p>\n

House of the Dragon<\/em>, meanwhile, is a prequel<\/a> which took inspiration from Martin\u2019s 2018 novel Fire & Blood<\/em>. The ongoing series is set hundreds of years before the events of GoT<\/em> and focuses on the ancestors<\/a> of Daenerys Targaryen.<\/p>\n
