Adam Sandler<\/a> piece of things, I met him a million years ago. I did that movie Click with him.<\/p>\n\u201cIt almost does make sense to me now because he does have that sentimental [personality] like, he’s just such a sweet man.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe really is, and he’s a good man. So I could see him being really funny, but then also really grounded and sentimental. He is very intentional when he speaks [and is] soft-spoken.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSandler and his wife Jackie, 51, recently celebrated their own 23rd wedding anniversary. <\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, the Wedding Singer actor \u201csaid yes right away\u201d when Travis and Taylor, both 36, asked him to officiate their star-studded nuptials. <\/p>\n
\nA source added to PEOPLE: \u201cHe wasn\u2019t trying to find the perfect words or make it this big production. He just wanted to speak from the heart and pass along a little wisdom that he\u2019s gained from his own happy marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, previously revealed that Sandler was \u201cphenomenal\u201d and \u201cdid a great job\u201d marrying the couple\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nHe told The Deseret News: \u201cAdam Sandler did the ceremony there, so he mentioned, \u2018Kiss her every chance you have.\u2019 So I think that, in its own simple way, that\u2019s a pretty good message. Kiss her before bed, kiss her before you go to work, all those things. It\u2019s hard to argue when you\u2019re kissing somebody.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHe even mentioned that if maybe you did have a small argument, to finish it with a kiss and make sure that you work it out. And as simple as that is, I thought it was wise words.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSandler has previously spoken of his friendship with both Travis and Taylor, telling Entertainment Tonight: \u201cHe\u2019s such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHe\u2019s like the guys I grew up with. When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my buddies in high school and just being able to laugh and say the things you want to say.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cTaylor is incredible. Taylor is so damn nice to my family and has always been. My kids have met Taylor a bunch of times over the years, and she\u2019s ridiculously nice to them and warm.\u201d<\/p>\n
