The alleged season one earnings of the cast of Off Campus<\/strong><\/a><\/em> were recently reported, and the show’s creator and co-showrunner is speaking out. <\/p>\n

Louisa Levy<\/strong><\/a> commented on a podcast’s Instagram video<\/a> this weekend, addressing the content of the clip where In the Vault<\/em> podcast host Ali Gray<\/strong> talks about the gender pay gap with co-host Shane Sutherland<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Off Campus<\/em> guys’ alleged salary revealed for season one <\/h3>\n

The podcast claims that star Belmont Cameli <\/strong>was the highest earner, at $260,000 for the season, with $30,000 per episode; Josh Heuston<\/strong> was paid $25,000 per episode, coming to $200,000; and Stephen Kalyn<\/strong> and Antonio Cipriano<\/strong> were allegedly paid $15,000 per episode for a total of $120,000 for the season, each. Jalen Thomas Brooks<\/strong> was not included in their video.<\/p>\n

However, the women of the show were reportedly earning less than some of their male counterparts.<\/p>\n

According to the podcast, star Ella Bright<\/strong>, who was part of the main couple the season focused on, and her best friend on the show, Mika Abdalla<\/strong>, who will be the leading female lead in season two<\/a>, both made $20,000 per episode, totaling $160,000.<\/p>\n

Of course, these amounts are only rumored, and there is no official confirmation of how much the cast made for the hit series’ first season.<\/p>\n

Creator and co-showrunner Louisa Levy <\/strong>saw the video and took to the comments to respond.<\/p>\n

In the comments of the In the Vault<\/em>‘s Instagram video about the pay disparity, Louisa<\/strong> dispelled the claims made. <\/p>\n

“Check your sources. These numbers are far from correct. While this is absolutely an issue in the industry, as a female showrunner I fight for gender pay parity in my cast,” she wrote, followed by a red heart emoji. <\/p>\n

Off Campus<\/em> is currently in production on the upcoming second season, which will focus on author Elle Kennedy<\/strong>‘s book “The Score,” which centers on Allie Hayes (Abdalla<\/strong>) and Dean Di Laurentis’ (Kalyn<\/strong>) romance.<\/p>\n
