J.K. Simmons<\/strong><\/a> and Tom Holland<\/strong><\/a> have both appeared in two Spider-Man<\/strong><\/a><\/em> movies together, but they have never met!<\/p>\n

The Oscar-winning actor discussed the surprising fact during a recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused<\/em> podcast.<\/p>\n

“I have not met Tom Holland<\/strong>,” J.K.<\/strong> revealed before adding, “Delightful guy, I’m told.”<\/p>\n

J.K.<\/strong> is, of course, best known to Marvel fans for playing Daily Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson, who frequently attacked Spider-Man’s reputation while hiring Peter Parker to provide photographs of the masked superhero in Tobey Maguire<\/strong><\/a>‘s original trilogy.<\/p>\n

He unexpectedly returned to the role during the mid-credits scene of Tom<\/strong>‘s 2019 movie Spider-Man: Far From Home<\/em>. His character appeared again in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/em>, but the two actors apparently still never crossed paths.<\/p>\n

Tom<\/strong> will next return as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em>, which arrives in theaters on July 31, 2026. Tickets for the movie are currently on sale.<\/p>\n

The upcoming movie is already generating enormous interest with the trailer surpassing 1 billion views in four days, setting a new movie-trailer viewing record<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Tom<\/strong> also recently revealed his top choice for the next Spider-Man<\/a> if he ever has the opportunity to pass the role on to another young actor.<\/p>\n
