Hayden Panettiere<\/strong><\/a> has pulled out of a public appearance at the last minute.<\/p>\n

This weekend, the 36-year-old Scream<\/em> actress was scheduled to appear at the Creep I.E. Aftermath<\/strong><\/em> convention in Ontario, Calif.<\/p>\n

However, on Friday (July 10), organizers for the event announced on Instagram<\/a> that Hayden<\/strong> will no longer be attending the convention due to an “emergency.”<\/p>\n

“Hayden Panettiere has an emergency and will not be able to attend this weekend,” the statement read. “We are looking forward to her appearing at an upcoming show.”<\/p>\n

It was then later announced that Face\/Off<\/em> star Dominique Swain<\/strong> will now be appearing at the convention in Hayden<\/strong>‘s place.<\/p>\n

As of right now, Hayden <\/strong>has not publicly addressed the situation and no other details about the “emergency” have been revealed.<\/p>\n

Creep I.E. Con<\/em> is running from July 10 through Sunday, July 12.<\/p>\n
