Jay-Z<\/b><\/a> kicked off his Reasonable Doubt<\/i> 30th anniversary concert at New York City\u2019s Yankee Stadium with an army of surprise guests \u2014 including wife Beyonc\u00e9<\/b><\/a> and their 14-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Beyonc\u00e9, 44, joined Jay-Z, 56, for the very first song<\/a> of the night on Friday, July 10, where they duetted \u201cCan\u2019t Knock the Hustle,\u201d per social media<\/span><\/a> footage. Later during the show, Jay-Z enlisted Blue Ivy to play piano during a rendition of \u201cFeelin\u2019 It.\u201d (Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z also share twins Sir and Rumi, both 9.)<\/p>\n

\u201cMake some noise for the legendary Blue Ivy Carter<\/a>,\u201d Jay-Z gushed at the end of the song, per social media<\/span><\/a>, before the father-daughter duo punctuated the moment with a sweet hug.<\/p>\n

The concert, celebrating 30 years of Jay-Z\u2019s album Reasonable Doubt<\/i>, also featured surprise cameos from Alicia Keys <\/b>and Nas.<\/b><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJay-Z finally earned daughter Blue Ivy\u2019s stamp of approval.\u00a0 The 53-year-old rapper and record producer opened up about his relationship with the 11-year-old during a multi-part interview with Gayle King for CBS Mornings.\u00a0 \u201cDo your kids think you\u2019re cool?\u201d King, 68, asked Jay-Z, who hilariously revealed that Blue used to give him a hard time [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI think the statement piece in a Jay-Z show is Jay-Z,\u201d Willo Perron<\/b> told Wired<\/i><\/span><\/a> <\/i>in a Saturday, July 11, profile about planning the epic feat and pulling off its multiple surprises. \u201cThis is more about storytelling than it is about stage design.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Perron, Jay-Z didn\u2019t want an \u201costentatious\u201d setup and instead wanted to recreate the stages he performed on early in his career.<\/p>\n

\u201cJay-Z sent me a video of an older concert, and I think the way that the stage was located, he was like, \u2018Oh, it\u2019s cool. People look like they\u2019re onstage,\u2019\u201d Perron recalled. \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018We should maybe just put people on stage.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The show, per social clips, also included prerecorded footage of Blue cutting her famous dad\u2019s locs. The rapper initially grew out his curls to help teach Blue about embracing her natural hair.<\/p>\n
