Defending herself. The Bachelorette<\/span><\/i><\/a>\u2018s\u00a0<\/span>Charity Lawson<\/b><\/a>\u00a0clapped back at fans who slammed her season for not being entertaining.<\/p>\n \u201cAll I can say is. It\u2019s a TV show #TheBachelorette,\u201d Charity, 27, wrote while live tweeting the Monday, July 3, episode.<\/p>\n The next day, one fan responded to the tweet by telling the reality star that her season is \u201cboring.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThen don\u2019t watch Kathleen, entertain yourself elsewhere,\u201d Charity wrote in response to the backlash on Wednesday, June 6.<\/p>\n After she competed to win over Zach Shallcross<\/b><\/a> during season 27 of<\/span> The Bachelor<\/span><\/i><\/a>, Charity was announced \u200bas the season 20 lead during The Bachelor<\/em>\u2019s Women\u2019s Tell All episode in March.<\/p>\n Before her season premiered on June 26, host Jesse Palmer<\/b><\/a> exclusively told <\/span>Life & Style<\/span><\/i> that <\/span>Charity was \u201cextremely happy\u201d<\/span><\/a> once filming ended.<\/p>\n \u201cWhatever that means, people will have to tune in and find out,\u201d Jesse, 44, revealed. \u201cI am obviously a massive fan of Charity, much like I know a lot of people out there are in Bachelor Nation after watching her season with Zach. So, getting a chance to host this show alongside an amazing woman was really, really special.\u201d<\/p>\n The host also praised the suitors<\/a> that were cast to win over the Georgia native.<\/p>\n \u201c[The men are] probably the most accomplished group of men<\/a> of any season that I\u2019ve hosted in the franchise. I mean, there\u2019s like several doctors, not just a doctor. There are several doctors,\u201d Jesse explained. \u201cThere\u2019s like a world record holder, there\u2019s firemen \u2013 it\u2019s just a whole collection of really, really great guys. Charity certainly has her work cut out for her, but it was, it was a tremendous season.\u201d<\/p>\n The TV personality went on to admit he was \u201cimpressed\u201d with the way Charity<\/a> took on the role of leading lady.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s able to make her own decisions<\/a> in real-time and she can take ownership of that. She doesn\u2019t lose sight of that,\u201d Jesse said. \u201cAnd I think that those are things that all sort of play out through her season<\/a>. I think you just get a chance to really see what makes her so special.\u201d<\/p>\n When discussing what fans can expect in upcoming episodes<\/a>, Jesse promised that Charity has no tolerance<\/a> for drama. He even revealed that she will become involved when tension escalates between some of her suitors.<\/p>\n \u201cAs soon as she does become aware of [the incidents], she wants to go handle that. Now, she doesn\u2019t want to go do an interview and sit down with a producer and talk about her feelings. She doesn\u2019t want to go ask a bunch of other people what\u2019s going on,\u201d the retired NFL player continued. \u201cShe\u2019ll get the name, she\u2019ll go find them. And if there better be a camera there because that\u2019s when it\u2019s going to happen. That\u2019s how Charity is, that\u2019s how she operates and I love it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
