Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> will not appear in American Horror Story<\/em><\/a> after being cast in season 13.<\/p>\n

Deadline<\/em><\/a> reported on Friday, July 10, that Grande, 33, has exited the horror series due to scheduling conflicts. The singer is currently on her Eternal Sunshine Tour<\/em> and there were some scheduling changes on American Horror Story<\/em>\u2019s production schedule as well as Grande\u2019s tour.<\/p>\n

Last month, Grande rescheduled multiple July concerts<\/a> including her stops in Brooklyn and Boston. The tour, which will conclude in September, has upcoming stops in New York, Canada, Chicago and London.<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, Grande did not shoot any scenes for the upcoming season, which is set to premiere on September 24.<\/p>\n

Last year, show creator Ryan Murphy<\/strong> announced via Instagram that Grande would be joining<\/a> American Horror Story<\/em> season 13. The pair previously worked together on Murphy\u2019s series Scream Queens<\/em><\/a>, in which Grande played Chanel No. 2.<\/p>\n

Grande\u2019s involvement in American Horror Story<\/em> came following the success of Wicked<\/em> and her starring role as Glinda. The actress has been booked and busy since as she is also appearing in the latest Fockers<\/em> film, Focker-in-Law, which hits theaters on November 25. She will also reunite with Wicked<\/em> costar Jonathan Bailey<\/strong> in a new stage production of Stephen Sondheim\u2019s musical, Sunday In The Park With George<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Later this month, Grande is also dropping her eighth studio album, Petal<\/em>, which will be released on July 31.<\/p>\n

In addition to Grande, Murphy revealed that the American Horror Story<\/em> cast included some former cast members. Jessica Lange<\/strong>, Sarah Paulson<\/strong>, Evan Peters<\/strong>, Angela Bassett<\/strong>, Kathy Bates<\/strong>, Emma Roberts<\/strong> and others will be returning for season 13. Longtime fans of American Horror Story<\/em> immediately expressed their excitement for both Lange, 77, and Peters, 39, to return to the anthology series.<\/p>\n
