Jay Cutler<\/a> – and she believes it is “good for them” to know they need to work hard for life’s luxuries. <\/p>\nSpeaking on the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast, she said: “My kids don\u2019t just get whatever they want. And if they want something, they have to work for it.<\/p>\n
“Something as small as they fly coach, I\u2019m flying first class. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“That was important to me when they became old enough that they could. It\u2019s not [difficult to do] when they\u2019re older. I\u2019m like, ‘Bye guys, have fun back there.’ <\/p>\n
\n“It\u2019s good for them. And I think it\u2019s the little things like that as a parent that make, ultimately, I think, a big difference in the long run.”<\/p>\n
\nKristin has also tried to teach her children about business to give them a solid start in life, particularly because she is aware they are “growing up in a very fortunate situation”. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: “A good example is last summer, both of my boys created their own little businesses. <\/p>\n
\n“One of my boys was washing people\u2019s windows, and the other one was washing people\u2019s garbage cans. <\/p>\n
\n“Because if they want something, they got to go work for it. And they got to make it happen.”<\/p>\n
\nIn January, Kristin told how her children inspired her to “pull back” about taking about her sex life.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking to guest Rachel Bilson on her own Let’s Be Honest podcast, Kristin said: “I\u2019ll definitely pull back, and I feel like I\u2019ve found this way to kind of say stuff without just saying it.<\/p>\n
\n“So this is actually the one thing that made me be like, \u2018Whoa, I need to watch what I\u2019m saying.’<\/p>\n
\n“[My sons] told me recently that, like, a year ago or something when I was dating that younger guy, that their friends said they saw [him] and I played a drinking game or something on the podcast, and they saw some of the sexual stuff that we were talking about.”<\/p>\n
