“‘I got a text but I thought it was spam,’ he told me, sounding defensive. ‘WHAT!?’ I asked in total disbelief.<\/p>\n
\n“I could feel my heart pulsing in my fingertips as I continued to scroll through the barrage of wedding-related posts popping up online.<\/p>\n
\n“‘Yeah – remember I told you I got a text from her manager? But I didn\u2019t respond to it. It didn\u2019t sound like him.’ <\/p>\n
\n“‘It was probably an assistant!’ I scolded him, my frustration growing by the second.”<\/p>\n
\nMelissa admitted Garret was “seemingly apologetic” about dismissing the invite, and admitted he thought someone was trying to “hack” his address book. <\/p>\n
\nFurther explaining their conversation about snubbing the star-studded nuptials, she wrote: “‘So let me get this straight: You mean to tell me that we were invited\u2026 and you didn\u2019t click on the invite?’ I asked.<\/p>\n
\n“‘Yeah,’ he shrugged. ‘I guess I thought someone was trying to hack my address book or something.’ “<\/p>\n
\nPsychotherapist Melissa had to leave the room because she was “reeling in frustration”. <\/p>\n
\nJacknife worked alongside Taylor on her 2012 album Red, during which she and Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody recorded their collaboration The Last Time at the pair’s music studio in Topanga, California.<\/p>\n
\nWhile Melissa and Jacknife weren’t in attendance at Taylor and Travis’ wedding, lots of celebrities were, including Adam Sandler, who officiated the pair’s ceremony. <\/p>\n
\nAnd the couple’s wedding guests were “floored” by the Hollywood actor officiating the ceremony, former NFL star Ryan Fitzpatrick has revealed.<\/p>\n
\nFitzpatrick, who attended the wedding with his wife Liza, told People: “We were very excited to get the invite and very privileged to be there.<\/p>\n
\n“When Adam Sandler walked out – it had everybody floored, that was really cool. The ceremony was beautiful.”<\/p>\n
