Robin Antin<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out about the death of Lauren Bennett<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 65-year-old dancer and choreographer, responsible for putting together the late star’s girl group G.R.L.<\/strong>, as well as founding the Pussycat Dolls<\/strong>, Girlicious<\/strong> and the Paradiso Girls<\/strong>, issued a statement after news broke of Lauren<\/strong>‘s passing earlier in the week.<\/p>\n

“There are some people who come into your life and become so much more than a friend. Lauren<\/strong>, you were my family, from the age of 16, when we first met, my chosen sister, my creative partner, and such a treasured part of my heart,” she wrote.<\/p>\n

“I look forward to sharing some of Lauren<\/strong>\u2019s most iconic moments with the fans who loved her so dearly. The stage was where she came alive. It was where she was completely herself. Lauren<\/strong>\u2019s voice and her heart were truly one of a kind, every performance reflected the joy, passion, and light she carried within her.”<\/p>\n

“Lauren<\/strong>, thank you for every uncontrollable laugh… every conversation at 3am about everything from Playground merch to creating new shows, every adventure, every dream, and every memory. Thank you for being my family. My Mum, Dad, & brothers absolutely adored you. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary gift with all of us. You have left a mark on this world that will never fade, and a place in my heart that can never be filled. I love & miss you endlessly, my beautiful friend,” she concluded.<\/p>\n

Lauren<\/strong>\u00a0passed away at the age of 37,<\/a>\u00a0and her father just released a statement.<\/a><\/p>\n

It was reported that she actually passed on May 29 and an\u00a0investigation into her death has been opened.<\/a><\/p>\n

You were wonderfully funny, delightfully silly, endlessly caring, fiercely loyal, and the kind of friend who made everyone around you feel loved. Your laugh was contagious, your smile could light up any room, and your heart was as beautiful as your beauty & voice.<\/p>\n

We shared so much together, so many years of dreams, so many stages, and so many unforgettable moments that I will cherish forever. While the world is now admiring your talent, I always admired your talent AND SPIRIT. You gave so much of yourself to everyone you loved. There will never be another Lauren Bennett.<\/p>\n

My heart aches everyday knowing that I can\u2019t see you, call you & that you aren\u2019t able to witness the incredible outpouring of love and recognition that has followed. You deserved every bit of it while you were here. I truly believe, somehow, that you can feel it now. I hope you know just how deeply you were loved, how profoundly you mattered, and how many lives you changed simply by being you. Above all, let\u2019s honor Lauren with the grace, and compassion she deserves during this unimaginable time.<\/p>\n
