Luke Wilson<\/strong><\/a> and Wes Anderson<\/strong><\/a>‘s night at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures took an unexpected turn.<\/p>\n

On Monday night (July 6), Luke<\/strong>, 54, and Wes<\/strong>, 57, were at the museum, along with producer James L. Brooks<\/strong>, for a special event celebrating the 30th anniversary of their 1996 movie Bottle Rocket<\/em>.<\/p>\n

After the event, Luke<\/strong>, Wes<\/strong>, and James<\/strong>, 86, got stuck in an elevator and needed to be rescued.<\/p>\n

The trio were trapped for roughly 30 minutes before the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived on the scene to rescue them.<\/p>\n

On Save Your Cinema’s X<\/a>, the account claimed that the elevator was “a secret passageway\/elevator so celebrities could enter and exit without public interference” at the Academy Museum.<\/p>\n

Carolyn Dunn<\/strong>, a production specialist for 20th Century Fox, also shared a video on Instagram<\/a> showing Wes<\/strong>, James<\/strong>, and Luke<\/strong> emerging from the elevator after firefighters opened the doors. In the clip, Wes<\/strong> can be heard asking the firefighters what caused the malfunction.<\/p>\n

\u201cProbably had too much weight in there,\u201d one official responded, to which the Oscar-winning filmmaker replied, \u201cOkay, thank you very much.\u201d<\/p>\n
