The first two categories for the 2026 Emmy Awards<\/em><\/strong> nominations have been announced!<\/p>\n

The full list of Emmy nominees will be released in just a few hours, but the Television Academy announced 2 categories early on the Today<\/em> show on Wednesday morning (July 8).<\/p>\n

Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas<\/strong><\/a> and Jeff Hiller<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>will be announcing all of the nominees for the 78th Emmy awards at 8:30 a.m. PT \/ 11:30 a.m. ET today. We’ll have the full list at that time.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, the two categories that were already announced were “Outstanding Reality Competition Program” and “Outstanding Variety Series.”<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert\u201d – FYI: The Late Show<\/em> was canceled by CBS<\/a>.
