Olivia Rodrigo<\/a> for Spotify\u2019s Countdown To series, when the Stupid Song singer asked her about her hair evolution. <\/p>\nOlivia began: \u201cAs someone who just loves you and watches you, I feel like your style has never been cooler. Like, love your haircut so much. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cHow does that play into things? Is that an afterthought sort of thing or is it something that you were thinking about while you were making the record?\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWith Gracie replying: \u201cI was certainly not thinking about anything visual. Everything that comes outside of the writing is like extra to consider… <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI think more than anything I have found as I have continued to cut my hair off, I feel more like myself.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe same can be said for her fashion sense. <\/p>\n
\nGracie added that while as part of a previous \u201ctour aesthetic\u201d she seemed to favour dresses, she now doesn\u2019t know if she\u2019ll \u201cever perform in a dress like ever\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nShe mused: \u201cIn this decade things change quick and you\u2019re just finding out who you are in front of people. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s interesting \u2014 and I have like no hair left to put a bow in!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHowever, Gracie added: \u201cI have so much soft fondness for those times.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nGracie is gearing up to release her third studio album, Daughter from Hell, on July 17. <\/p>\n
\nAs the title suggests, she wasn\u2019t the kindest to her parents as she grew up, and reflected on how her relationship with her mum and dad has changed as she\u2019s aged. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI was really hard on them. I think when you\u2019re in a place where your relationships with your family are full of intense friction \u2014 you never think they\u2019ll be different. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd you certainly never think you\u2019ll want as much time as you can get with them. I don\u2019t know what it is, probably the times we\u2019re living in and the amount of pain in the world \u2014 but none of us have any idea how long we\u2019re gonna be here. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd I want as much of my time left here spent with the people that I love.\u201d<\/p>\n
