Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot in New York<\/p>\n

The loved-up couple tied the knot in New York City over the weekend, and their star-studded guest list – which included the likes of Gigi Hadid<\/a>, Emma Stone, Tom Hanks, Ed Sheeran, Tom Brady, Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter, and Patrick Mahomes – combined to create an unforgettable atmosphere inside the world-famous indoor arena.<\/p>\n

A friend of the couple explained to People: “Everywhere you looked, there were stars, one more famous than the next. But it wasn\u2019t like a typical Hollywood party \u2014 everyone was so down-to-earth.<\/p>\n

“Stars talked to family friends and were gawking just as much about the vibe and saying how happy they were to be there. There was an electric energy in the room.”<\/p>\n

Taylor, 36, and Travis are now expected to attend the wedding of NFL star JuJu Smith-Schuster in California on July 11. <\/p>\n

\nThe happy couple – who announced their engagement last year – are planning to spend some quality time together over the next few weeks, before Travis begins preparations in earnest for the start of the new NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n

\nA source shared: “They\u2019re really excited to enjoy a few weeks of newlywed life before football season gets going again.”<\/p>\n

\nTravis began dating Taylor in 2023, and Patrick Mahomes – Travis’ teammate at the Chiefs – subsequently claimed that the singer has helped to make the NFL franchise a “worldwide team”.<\/p>\n

\nPatrick told Time magazine: “[The Chiefs] went from a nationwide team that was kind of global to a full global worldwide team. That came from Taylor\u2019s fanbase.”<\/p>\n

\nPatrick also admitted to being impressed by Taylor’s work ethic.<\/p>\n

\nThe quarterback – who is widely regarded as one of the best players in the NFL – said: “I\u2019ve met a lot of famous people now in my life. Taylor\u2019s probably the most down-to-earth person that\u2019s been on that stage for that long.<\/p>\n

\n“She\u2019s never not working. Even when she\u2019s taking her downtime, she\u2019s working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks.”<\/p>\n
