Rachel Lindsay<\/strong><\/a> is looking back at one of the most-talked about moments from her divorce from Brian Abasolo<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Smith Sisters Live<\/em>, Rachel<\/strong> was asked about the now-viral Zelle memo she used after he was awarded $13,000 in monthly spousal support, per Page Six<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the memo, she wrote, “Temporary leech money,” as Rachel<\/strong> was ordered to make two monthly payments rather than paying the lump sum each month.<\/p>\n

Rachel<\/strong> confirmed the story, saying the note came from frustration over the amount she had to pay at the time.<\/p>\n

“The moment I realized I had to pay temporary support, which is way more than whatever you, I mean, I’ve settled. I’m done. I am not making any payments. People love to say that. And I’m very proud, like, dumb not getting a prenup, but proud that I was able to pay it off in a year,” she said.<\/p>\n

Rachel<\/strong> explained she thought the memo would stay private.<\/p>\n

“And so I thought, how can I say this where it’s not too much, but like, just it stings just enough,” she recalled. And I would have continued. I was going to change it every single time when I sent it. And I thought, ‘Okay, it’s spousal support, but he’s a f–king leech.’ And so I was like, ‘Temporary leech money.’ And I sent it.”<\/p>\n

She claimed her ex wanted the public to turn on her after the memo surfaced, but said the reaction went another way.<\/p>\n

“He wanted so badly for people, he thought people would hate me for it, would turn on me,” the reality star explained. “And he also asked the court to sanction me $5,000 for that. And it’s like, okay, you just got $13,000 and you’re mad about the note. And you want me, because he wanted people to feel a certain way, and instead it made him look stupid.”<\/p>\n

“My older sister only refers to him as ‘Leech,’” Rachel<\/strong> added.<\/p>\n
