This is the lowest opening for the franchise, including the original <b>Despicable Me<\/b>&#8216;s $56 million in 2010. Internationally it fared better, bringing in $86 million over the weekend and $98 million so far.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, <b>Toy Story 5<\/b> made $31 million over the weekend in its fifth weekend of release. It has already made $366 million domestic and $764 million worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><b>Young Washington<\/b> came in third at the box office, pulling in $20.6 million and receiving an \u201cA\u201d grade on CinemaScore.<\/p>\n<p>Alas, poor <b>Supergirl <\/b>did not fare well in its second weekend of release after a disastrous opening weekend, falling 74% and bringing in just $9.6 million dollars. Since its release, it has made only $58.5 million in North America and $100.5 million worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>In fifth place was <b>Disclosure Day <\/b>with $6 million.<\/p>\n<p>On the indie side, <b>The Invite<\/b> cracked the top 10 with an $800,000 haul from 10 theaters.
