Describing a love she said had endured beyond his death, Sharon, 73, shared a photograph of the couple holding hands alongside a personal message on social media almost a year after the Black Sabbath frontman died at the age of 76.<\/p>\n
The television personality and music manager posted the tribute on Instagram on Saturday (04.07.26), the anniversary of the couple\u2019s wedding in 1982. <\/p>\n
Sharon wrote online: \u201cToday would have been our 46th wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cInstead, it is a celebration of a love that even death could not diminish. I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me every step of the way.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe concluded: \u201cForever my husband. Forever my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nOzzy died on 22 July, 2025, following a public battle with Parkinson\u2019s disease, just weeks after performing his farewell concert with Black Sabbath in Birmingham. <\/p>\n
\nThe performance reunited Ozzy with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for one final appearance, bringing the pioneering heavy metal band\u2019s career to a close. <\/p>\n
\nThe concert and Ozzy\u2019s death prompted a global outpouring of tributes, while renewed interest in Black Sabbath\u2019s legacy has continued throughout the past year. <\/p>\n
\nAway from music, Ozzy and Sharon also became household names through the MTV reality series The Osbournes, which followed their family life and helped redefine celebrity reality television.<\/p>\n
\nThe Osbourne family announced Ozzy\u2019s death in a statement released shortly after he died. <\/p>\n
\nThey said: \u201cIt is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHe was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nOzzy\u2019s death came one day after his final performance with Black Sabbath, an event that brought together fans from around the world to celebrate the career of one of heavy metal\u2019s defining figures. <\/p>\n
\nHis diagnosis with Parkinson\u2019s disease had been public for several years before his death.<\/p>\n
\nIn September 2025, Sharon thanked supporters for the messages she had received following Ozzy\u2019s death. <\/p>\n
\nSharing a video on Instagram featuring herself and daughter Kelly Osbourne spending time with owls, Sharon wrote: \u201cI\u2019m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you\u2019ve shown on social media. Your comments, posts and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe continued: \u201cThough I\u2019m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence. They\u2019ll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. It\u2019s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSharon concluded: \u201cI love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSharon and Ozzy shared daughters Aimee Osbourne, Kelly and son Jack Osbourne. <\/p>\n
\nOzzy was also the father of Jessica Osbourne and Louis Osbourne from his first marriage to Thelma Riley.<\/p>\n
\nThroughout their more than four decades together, Sharon managed Ozzy\u2019s solo career following his departure from Black Sabbath and became one of the music industry’s most influential managers. <\/p>\n
\nShe also enjoyed a successful television career as a judge on The X Factor and America\u2019s Got Talent.<\/p>\n
